That is why we are offering a series of products and services that facilitate communication and collaboration.
Communication
- We are offering 1GB for free for 7 days, with every online payment made for a mobile or fixed-line bill via the My COSMOTE app.
- We provide the option for more liberated internet for your entire home, throughout the home, with incredible speeds of up to 200Mbps
Entertainment
We provide solutions for free high-quality entertainment with the carefully selected documentary programmes and shows of COSMOTE History, available to everyone through COSMOTE TV’s official channel on YOUTUBE.
Work
We provide communication and remote work solutions for all businesses with:
- COSMOTE Business One, through which a business can forward calls from its fixed-line numbers to a company mobile phone of its choice, free of charge.
- Free COSMOTE Business Email with the purchase of COSMOTE BUSINESS GIGAMAX, or COSMOTE Business Double Play. 15 accounts are provided with 100GB free storage for employees, with easy management through an app, with PC and mobile clients.
- Free COSMOTE Smart Office on COSMOTE Business Double Play with smart functionalities for the company’s landline, such as recorded announcements regarding opening times, smart call transfer, promotions, Voicemail–to–E-mail, etc.
- 1-month free trial of Microsoft 365 for the use of Office, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and other tools that help with remote work.
Health
We are contributing to the national effort from the very beginning, with a donation of 2million €, in partnership with the Ministry of Health, to support Greek hospitals with respirators and beds suitable for ICUs.
In addition we have implemented for free and operate a special 5-digit Mental health support hotline (10306), providing counselling and mental health support to citizens. Calls from COSMOTE subscribers to 10306 are free of charge.
Education
We provide distance learning solutions for every Greek family:
- Free access from mobile networks with no data charges for the digital platforms used by the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs for distance learning at schools.
- Zero charge for the use of the 211 990 2394 and 211 198 1029 numbers for Distance Learning needs.
- Access to educational programmes and entertainment activities of OTE Group Telecommunications Museum for children and families, providing everyone with the opportunity to participate digitally from their home or classroom. Interested parties can take part by booking a place online for a live online programme in art or robotics, while they can play, learn, and be entertained through a series of activities organised by the museum’s site www.otegroupmuseum.gr
The State
We are proud to implement technology projects that facilitate the Government’s response to the health crisis. Indicatively, COSMOTE continues to offer remote work tools for more than 10,000 Civil Servants.
Supporting vulnerable social groups
- The Group’s volunteer blood donors, with a strong sense of social responsibility, have contributed to the collective effort to cover Greece’s increased needs in blood, gathering more than 600 blood bags. Always making the safety of our employees our priority, the voluntary blood donation and the bone marrow donor programme are implemented by appointment only, for a specific number of donors per day, complying with the special protection measures.
- In response to the appeal of ‘Shedia’ (Magazine distributed by homeless people) for support during the health crisis, and especially during the lockdown period, we purchased and made available to our employees more than 700 magazines. At the same time, we offered telecommunications plans with free minutes, text messages and GBs, and also provided coupons with a total value of €3,000 for purchases from supermarkets for all ‘Shedia’ sellers. Furthermore, we activated our company’s volunteer team to provide thoughtful conversations via telephone to members of ‘Shedia’.
- We offered free COSMOTE TV to 4 houses of The Smile of the Child. Overall, in recent years we have provided free COSMOTE TV services to all 15 houses of The Smile of the Child and more than 165 spaces that host children.
- Supporting the organization ‘Elefsina support Center for Children” with €2,000 in coupons, for supermarket purchases for the children the organization cares for, and their families.
- Ensuring uninterrupted telephony & internet services to hospitals that are strategic in fighting the pandemic and in retirement homes, with the installation of backup batteries and by carrying out precautionary quality assurance tests on the services.

OTE Group has implemented a series of actions that ensure, first and foremost, the health and safety of our people as well as their ability to continue to work. We are implementing a hybrid work programme, both remotely and with in-office attendance, keeping an overall 70% work-from-home to 30% in-office ratio, with the exception of those people working in the front line: our technicians and our people in the stores are there to help you every day, always maintaining the necessary safety precuations.
