YAKSHA
Cybersecurity Awareness and Knowledge Systemic High-level Application
(01/2018 – 12/2020)
Aim: To improve Cybersecurity while reinforcing EU-ASEAN cooperation
OTE participates in the YAKSHA European research project (https://project-yaksha.eu/), which aims at reinforcing EU-ASEAN cooperation and building partnerships in the cybersecurity domain by developing a solution tailored to specific national needs leveraging EU know-how and local knowledge.
YAKSHA will enhance cybersecurity readiness levels for its end users, help better prevent cyber-attacks, reduce cyber-risks and better govern the whole cybersecurity process. The EU-ASEAN cooperation during and after the YAKSHA project will also help mitigate some of the weaknesses identified in the cybersecurity ecosystem.
As part of the project, OTE is helping describe the scenarios and use cases, identify user/system requirements and specifications, define the system architecture and its overall evaluation through pilot testing in the laboratory and in the field. Additionally, the company participates in dissemination and exploitation activities for the project’s results.
The project is co-funded by the EU through the Horizon 2020 Programme and has a duration of 2.5 years. YAKSHA is being implemented by 13 entities from 10 countries (Greece, Portugal, Italy, France, Bulgaria, Finland, Spain, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Thailand).
