European Research Project TYPHON
(02/2018-12/2020)
Scope: To create a methodology for designing and monitoring multiple types of databases.
OTE, participates in the European research project TYPHON (
https://www.typhon-project.org/), which aims to develop a methodology for designing and monitoring multiple types of databases, supporting hybrid architectures, meeting the growing demands of information in heterogeneous data.
As part of the project, we are involved in defining the system's technical requirements and specifications and in its overall evaluation, while contributing to the dissemination and exploitation of its results.
The project brings together research partners (Alpha Bank, ATB Institut für Angewandte Systemtechnik Bremen, CLMS, Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica, Edge Hill University, GMV Aerospace and Defense, The Open Group, University of L'Aquila, University of Namur, University of York, and Volkswagen) on research pillars such as:
• software modeling,
• the creation of innovative resource reporting and monitoring tools,
• extracting text for the purpose of delivering research results in the form of robust and widely used open source software.
The TYPHON project receives funding under the European Union's Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Programme under grant agreement No. 780251.
