Business Continuity Management System (BCMS)


At the OTE Group, the leading organization in the telecommunications sector in Greece, we consider it our duty to grow steadily and to ensure the uninterrupted provision of quality telecommunication services, in accordance with the requirements and expectations of all stakeholders, protecting ourselves against unforeseen events and emergencies, and shielding our value and our corporate reputation. That is why we implement a Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) which focuses on establishing, implementing, running, monitoring, reviewing, maintaining and improving the organization's business continuity.

To achieve the above and to ensure both stability and development, we use business continuity techniques in accordance with the ISO 22301:2012 standard, while at the same time carrying out risk analyses at critical buildings as well as impact assessment studies on the Group's activities. In addition, through continuous and targeted training, testing, drills and info-events, we ensure that all OTE Group employees fully understand their roles and responsibilities in relation to the Business Continuity Management Program.

Executives from the BCM unit of the OTE Group received certifications as BCM Practitioners through BCS/The Chartered Institute for IT (former ISEB) and BCI/ Business Continuity Institute, thus confirming the high level of know-how and training among the Group's personnel.

OTE and COSMOTE have received certification for the ISO 22301:2012 “Societal Security – Business Continuity management systems - Requirements” standards from TUV HELLAS Certification Body (TUV NORD GROUP), covering their entire range of activities:

provision of fixed-line and mobile telephony services, including voice and data calls, value added services, TV, interconnection, wholesale, consulting, call center services, emergency call center services, data center services and related customer service points of contact for the

Group’s services in Greece.
