Mr. Panayiotis Gabrielides, OTE Group’s Chief Marketing Officer Consumer Segment, stated: “
The medal and distinctions of the Greek delegation at the World Educational Robotics Olympiad are the result of the young pupils’ passion and their commitment into learning and exploring new fields. Their passion and persistence give us hope that the growth of their digital skills along with the use of technology, are laying the foundations for the creation of a better world for all.”
The Chairman of WRO Hellas, Mr. Ioannis Somalakidis, stated the following after the Robot Olympiad: “
It was with great satisfaction that we have been watching the Greek flag on the scoreboard of announcements and awards in all categories. A special moment, of course, was the second place and the silver medal of the Robocores team received for a project that essentially opens the way for visually impaired children to attend classes with their other classmates on an equal footing. Congratulations to everyone who worked hard for these achievements. WRO Hellas will continue to highlight the importance of educational robotics and train Greek students and teachers.”
