- Broadcasts begin today of select 5thround knock-out matches
COSMOTE TV secured the exclusive broadcast rights for the Greek Football Cup – the competition of big surprises. For the twelfth consecutive year, COSMOTE SPORT channels will broadcast all the action, from the 5th round to the final. The Greek Cup joins COSMOTE TV’s already extensive sports programming, which includes over 60 top leagues, tournaments and races in football, basketball, tennis, motor sports and other popular sports, including over 8,000 hours of live broadcasts.
Greek Football Cup action begins today (October 26th) with the knock-out matches of the 5th Round, in which 24 teams are taking the field. Twelve teams will qualify for the round of 16, joining Olympiacos, PAOK, AEK and Aris. COSMOTE SPORT channels will broadcast eight 5th-round fixtures and all matches from the Round of 16 through to the Cup Final on 21 May 2022.
