180,000 households and businesses have now access to 100% fiber to the building infrastructure and guaranteed Internet speeds of 100 & 200Mbps, through
COSMOTE Fiber[1] the largest fiber optic network in Greece. 30,000 new FTTH lines have been added since the beginning of the year, an increase of 20% compared to the end of 2019, despite the difficulties due to the pandemic outbreak.
The new areas that have gained access to FTTH speeds through COSMOTE Fiber are in Attica, Rafina and N. Philadelphia, in Thessaloniki, the Municipality of Agios Georgios and Sindos, while FTTH has also arrived, for the first time, in Agrinio. Till the end of June, three more areas of Attica, Melissia, Pallini and Anavissos, as well as Diavata in Thessaloniki, will have access to the unlimited possibilities of fiber optics to households and businesses. Thanks to the continuous expansion of the FTTH network, the OTE Group offers the widest population coverage, having implemented overall more than 75% of the country's FTTH infrastructure.

For those businesses that are located in areas that have access to FTTH, COSMOTE offers the
COSMOTE Business Double Play Fiberspeed Basic & Full Pack, plans, providing superfast speeds of 100 & 200Mbps that can be upgraded to 1Gbps in the future.
Besides households, businesses can now receive a special subsidy of €360 in total for an FTTH connection, via the Superfast Broadband initiative of the Ministry of Digital Governance. The initiative is being implemented via the voucher method, which subsidizes the fixed fee of the plans at €13/month, for a maximum period of 24 months, as well as the one-off connection cost of €48.
