The second episode of COSMOTE’s original mini-documentary series on smart cities, available on the COSMOTE YouTube channel
The new episode of COSMOTE’s original mini-documentary series on “How 5G will change the world,” focusing on smart cities and the future of transportation, is now available on the COSMOTE YouTube channel.
The second episode focuses on the topic of automated transport of people and material goods, introducing us to autonomous and cooperative vehicles and helping us “envision” the evolution of self-driving vehicles on a mass scale. The mini-documentary also enumerates the advantages of 5G applications on roadways and in new-generation vehicles, including the expected drop in road accidents, independent transportation for people with disabilities and use of travel time inside vehicles.
We also learn how 5G will make cities friendlier for everyone and how 5G networks will “serve” the neighbourhoods of the future, contributing towards effective management and control of energy. In addition, we learn about the environmental and civil protection applications of 5G technology.
COSMOTE’s original mini-documentary series “How 5G will change the world,” which is available on the COSMOTE YouTube channel, reveals –though six episodes– the unlimited potential of 5G applications through narration, expert interviews, simple examples and the aid of animation and graphics. The aim is to enable everyone to learn and understand everything about 5G: what this revolutionary technology is, how it can be applied and how it will improve our lives.
