DECLARATION OF CONSENT REGARDING THE CREATION OF ΥOUR SUBSCRIBER PROFILE
For us at OTE Group, the protection of your personal data is our top priority.
In order to enjoy even better services, personalized customer care and offers tailored to your needs, we would like to inform you about the possibility of creating your individual profile and how we protect your personal data.

Why do we process your personal data?
  • By creating your own personal profile, you give us the opportunity to create and communicate to you proposals and solutions that best meet your needs..
That is why we need your consent for the processing of your personal data, while providing mobile telephony, fixed telephony and internet services, as well as COSMOTE TV.

In case you use other services of the OTE Group, such as COSMOTE Insurance, BOX, COSMOTE Payments, etc. and provided that you have given your consent, we may use the data resulting from the use of the individual services to enrich your profile.

Here are some examples of data usage:
  • We analyze data such as your communications with customer service or other channels such as our stores, our various applications, our websites, etc., to evaluate how satisfied you are with our services as well as how active you are in using them, so that we can suggest alternative products that will meet your needs.
  • We analyze traffic and billing data to identify unusual charges on your account and let you know, e.g. through the MyCosmote app, so that any additional charges are fully understood by you.
  • We analyze the data on the use of our services and traffic, in order to identify the categories of services you use, e.g. if you mainly use data or telephony services and we may suggest packages that we believe will meet your needs.
  • We analyze traffic data about the websites you visit and the applications you use, in order to assess your potential interest in services provided by OTE Group and / or our partners and to make suggestions for relevant products.
  • We analyze viewership data to understand which categories of content are of interest to you and possibly suggest packages that we believe will meet your preferences.
  • We analyze data from your response to surveys, offers that we provide to you through COSMOTE or third companies (e.g. DEALS for YOU partner offers), in coupons and tenders of COSMOTE or third parties available through COSMOTE channels e.g. in My COSMOTE App, as well as services activated through COSMOTE applications (e.g. Green steps), in order to assess your potential interest in services provided by OTE Group and / or our partners and to make suggestions for relevant products, ours or third parties, that will meet your needs.
  • We analyze and combine data derived from the use of non-telecommunications services provided by the OTE Group, such as COSMOTE Insurance, BOX, etc., provided that you have given your consent to the enrichment of your profile us (electronically or physically).
  • We analyze mobility data related to frequent or non-frequent changes in your location. In particular, we analyze your location data in order to draw conclusions about whether you travel frequently or not, in order to suggest mobile telephony packages that we believe will meet your needs. Note that we do not store data that reveals the specific routes you follow in your daily life, but we only draw generalized conclusions about whether you move frequently or not.
  • We analyze traffic data and data from the use of applications, in order to identify possible correlations between our subscribers, in order to recommend your inclusion in the privileged schemes such as COSMOTE ONE.
Thus, you will create your own consumer profile, through which we will be able:
  1. to serve you and respond to your requests more effectively [e.g. through our Customer Service, through our applications (e.g. My Cosmote and What's Up) or through our websites] responding to your personal needs. In addition, you will be able to participate, if you wish, in market research on your views and degree of satisfaction with our products and services.
  2. to communicate and suggest to you products and services that suit you through digital (e.g. email, SMS, push notifications) and physical (e.g. stores, call center) service channels, as well as invite you to participate in promotional or rewarding actions (e.g. free packages, through tenders, coupons of OTE and COSMOTE or third companies, etc.) according to your interests and preferences. You may receive such communications through your visits in our websites, all the mobile applications you use and the COSMOTE TV, concerning products and services of OTE, COSMOTE and their subsidiaries.
  3. to inform you via email, SMS and / or other electronic means about the products and services, coupons, contests, surveys of third companies that we maintain commercial cooperation with, as well as about their offers or promotions (e.g. for competitions run by a third party company) that will meet your interests.
