COSMOΚΑRΤΑ Activation

In order to activate COSMOKARTA, it is necessary to get registered.

Get at your nearest COSMOTE or GERMANOS store in order to identify your personal information. Do not forget to bring your personal ID or passport.
You can also activate your sim card via COSMOTE App or My COSMOTE web

Then follow these steps:

 
  • Insert the COSMOTE SIM card into your mobile device and turn it on
  • Enter the four-digit PIN1 code you can find on the back of the SIM card
  • If your battery is charged, the display shows that you are connected on the COSMOTE network
  • For activations at physical selling points: All you need to do now is call any number*. As soon as you make that call, a recorded message welcomes you to COSMOTE prepaid telephony and informs you about your number’s activation status.
The validity period of the connection is 13 months since the initial activation or the latest top up of cash balance. The validity period of cash balance is 2 months (60 days) from the last top up. If 3 months (90) pass without any new top up, barring on incoming and outgoing calls, text messages and Internet usage is automatically activated.


* Any number apart from toll-free numbers, such as emergency numbers (e.g., 166).
