Step 1
After your order is complete, you can create your Netflix account by selecting the link in the SMS you received.
Step 2
If you already have a Netflix account that you want to transfer to COSMOTE TELEKOM, log in with your existing details. This way you will keep the profiles you have created, your history and all your Netflix settings.
Step 3
The only thing that changes is that Netflix will now be charged to your COSMOTE TV billing account!
Step 4
If you can't find the SMS you received with the link to create a Netflix account, you can enter on My COSMOTE web, on the page with your active COSMOTE TV package and select "Create account".

1. How can I get Netflix from COSMOTE TELEKOM?
You can activate one of the COSMOTE TV & Netflix bundle packages or add Netflix to any COSMOT TV Cinema or Full Pack contract package (Streaming or Satellite).
2. Which Netflix package is included in the COSMOTE TV & Netflix bundle?
The COSMOTE TV & Netflix bundle package includes the Basic Netflix Plan, which allows you to watch unlimited movies and TV shows on one device at a time in 720p HD resolution, as well as download content on one device for offline viewing.
3. The prices of Netflix packages have changed. Will this also affect the corresponding prices for COSMOTE TV & Netflix combo packages as well as the Netflix add-on for COSMOTE TV?

Netflix is adjusting the prices of its three packages (Basic, Standard, Premium) starting on 15/11/2024. For subscribers of Netflix packages through COSMOTE TV (both new and existing), the following will apply:

  • For COSMOTE TV & Netflix combo packages, the Netflix price increase (Basic, Standard, Premium) will take effect:
    • From 01/06/2025 for the 12-month commitment package

    • From 01/12/2025 for the 24-month commitment package

  • For add-ons to any Cinema or Full Pack (Streaming or Satellite) contract package, as well as DP plus TV packages, the Netflix price increase (Basic, Standard, Premium) will take effect from 01/03/2025.
4. What will be the new prices of the Netflix packages effective on the above dates?

The new prices of the three Netflix packages effective on the above dates will be:

  • Netflix Basic: €8.99/month from €7.99
  • Netflix Standard: €12.49/month from €10.99
  • Netflix Premium: €15.99/month from €13.99
5. Will the new prices apply only to new customers or also to existing customers with COSMOTE TV & Netflix combo packages?

The price increase will take place according to the following dates stated below, simultaneously for all existing subscribers as well as for any new customers who acquire the service from that point onwards.

  • For COSMOTE TV & Netflix combo packages,the Netflix price increase (Basic, Standard, Premium) will take effect:

    • For 01/06/2025 for the 12-month commitment package

    • For 01/12/2025 for the 24-month commitment package

  • foradd-ons to any Cinema or Full Pack (Streaming or Satellite) contract package, as well as DP plus TV packages, the Netflix price increase (Basic, Standard, Premium) will take effect from 01/03/2025.
6. I have activated the Netflix service through COSMOTE TELEKOM, and the price change will be applied in the future. Will there be any notice before the new price is implemented?

You will be notified in time, one (1) month before the new price is implemented, via SMS sent to the number you have provided for updates and in your COSMOTE TELEKOM bill.

7. Can I choose another Netflix package?

You can choose another Netflix package either during the initial order or later through COSMOTE TELEKOM or Netflix. Regardless of your initial selection with COSMOTE TELEKOM once you create your account, Netflix will prompt you to choose a package (Premium, Standard, or Basic).

To change your package after creating your account, log in to your account on Netflix.com, visit the Netflix Account page, select "Change Plan," and choose one from the available packages.

Alternatively:

  • You can do this through My COSMOTE web My COSMOTE, select the COSMOTE TV subscription ID in the "Television" section, click "Manage Netflix" under the Program Information, and then "Change Package." You must have linked and be able to manage your COSMOTE TV subscription with your COSMOTE ID. For instructions, click here.

  • Request a plan change at a COSMOTE or GERMANOS store or by calling 13888.

8. I am an existing COSMOTE TV subscriber. Can I also get Netflix from COSMOTE TELEKOM?
If you are a subscriber of the COSMOTE TV Streaming service with a contract package, you can upgrade to one of the available COSMOTE TV & Netflix packages and benefit from the preferential bundle package price. Alternatively, if you are a COSMOTE TV Streaming or Satellite Cinema or Full Pack contract subscriber, you can activate Netflix as an additional service to your subscription.
9. How do I create my Netflix account?

Upon completing your order with COSMOTE TELEKOM, you will receive an SMS with a personal link to create your Netflix account. This link is personal to your subscription and should not be forwarded to others. After creating your account, Netflix will again prompt you to choose a package. Please make sure you select the correct package and pricing that better addresses what you are looking for.

Alternatively, you can create your Netflix account through My COSMOTE, select the COSMOTE TV subscription ID in the "TV" section, click "Create/Link Account" under the Program Information. 10. I have lost the SMS with the link to create my Netflix account. What can I do;

You can create your Netflix account through My COSMOTE, select the COSMOTE TV subscription ID in the "TV" section, click "Account Activation" under the Program Information. You must have linked and be able to manage your COSMOTE TV subscription with your COSMOTE ID. For instructions, click here.

11. I already have a Netflix account. Can I continue using the same one?

Yes, you can. When you receive the account activation link from COSMOTE TELEKOM, then you have to login with your existing Netflix credentials (username / password).


In this case, if you had originally created your account directly on the Netflix website, the charges from Netflix will be discontinued as soon as you complete this connection.


COSMOTE TELEKOM does not have access to your existing Netflix account during the order process and cannot automatically link it. To avoid double charges, we encourage you to complete this connection as soon as you receive the SMS for creating your account via COSMOTE while keeping your existing Netflix profile.

12. Why do I see the "Premium" package selected on Netflix during account creation?
Netflix will prompt you to choose a package during account creation regardless of the package you selected with COSMOTE TELEKOM in case you would like to upgrade to a Netflix plan with more benefits (e.g. more simultaneous streaming devices). The Premium Netflix Plan is the one that offers the maximum number of simultaneous viewings and devices. Please review the additional features and charges and choose the package that interests you.
13. Why do I see different prices when selecting a package on Netflix?
Netflix shows the additional monthly cost compared to the package you chose with COSMOTE TELEKOM. The package you selected with COSMOTE TELEKOM is marked as "Included" or "€0."
14. When does the Netflix charge start?
The Netflix charge starts when you complete your order with COSMOTE TELEKOM, regardless of the account creation date on Netflix. Upon completion of your order, you will receive an SMS to create your Netflix account (username & password) and start enjoying the service.
15. How will I pay for Netflix?
Netflix will be charged on your COSMOTE TV bill.
16. How will I pay the additional cost if I change my Netflix package?
The charge will be added to your COSMOTE TV bill. Your COSMOTE TV bill will always show the final price of the Netflix package you chose.
17. How can I change the mobile phone number on my "Netflix contact"?
You can change the mobile phone number set as your "Netflix contact" by calling 13888.
18. Can I cancel Netflix whenever I want?

The COSMOTE TV & Netflix bundle packages come with a 12-month or 24-month commitment, depending on the package. If you no longer want the combo package, you can request a conversion to a COSMOTE TV package of similar content. A termination fee applies for the Netflix service as per the COSMOTE TV & Netflix combo package price list. If you wish to terminate the entire bundle package, an additional termination fee applies for the COSMOTE TV service. If you activate Netflix as an additional service, you can terminate it anytime without any charges.

19. If I terminate my Neflix package I activated with COSMOTE TELEKOM, will my Netflix account be automatically terminated?
If you cancel your Netflix package you activated with COSMOTE TELEKOM, one of the following will happen:
  • If you have another valid Netflix method of payment (credit or debit card, for example) on file with Netflix, your Netflix account will not be disrupted and Netflix will charge your previous method of payment.
  • If you do not have another valid Netflix method of payment on file, your Netflix account will go on hold. To continue using Netflix, visit your Netflix Account page and add a new method of payment.
20. How will I watch Netflix?

Through the Netflix app on your COSMOTE TV Set-Top-Box and on many Internet-connected devices like STBs, Smart TVs, computers, game consoles, smartphones, and tablets. For a full list, visit devices.netflix.com.

The Netflix app is pre-installed on the home screen of your COSMOTE TV decoder, next to the COSMOTE TV app.

21. I connected the wrong Netflix account to my package. What should I do?
If you connected the wrong account to your package, contact Netflix customer support and provide the email address of the incorrectly linked Netflix account.
22. I want to link an existing Netflix account, but I don't remember my credentials.

If you know the email address you used to register with Netflix, go to netflix.com/LoginHelp to reset your password.

If you don't remember the email address you used to register or think you might have entered it incorrectly, check if you are logged in to Netflix on the device used for registration.

If so, you can view and update your account information. If you need further assistance, contact Netflix customer support at help.netflix.com.

23. I connected an account to my package but can't remember the email address to login on other devices.

a) Check if you are still logged in on the device used to connect the account, as you may be able to access your account information.

b) Alternatively, you can do this through My COSMOTE web, log in with your COSMOTE ID, select the COSMOTE TV subscription ID in the "Television" section, click "Manage Netflix" under the Program Information, and then "Retrieve Password." You will be redirected to a Netflix login page with your email address pre-filled. From there, you can log in to your Netflix account or change your password if you don't remember it. You must have linked and be able to manage your COSMOTE TV subscription with your COSMOTE ID.

24. Can I link my Netflix account to multiple devices?
You can link your Netflix account to as many compatible devices as you want, but simultaneous viewing depends on the Netflix package you have selected.
