A state-of-the-art Data Center at the disposal of the 28 countries of the Group
Coca-Cola HBC satisfied the need for a state-of-the-art Data Center in Greece by assigning its implementation, following an international tender, to OTE Group. It is a large-scale and complex project that aims to facilitate the business IT applications of Coca-Cola HBC employees in the 28 countries in which it operates.
With the new state-of-the-art Data Center, Greece becomes the foundation for one of the key operations of Coca-Cola HBC Group, since it now supports the overall business operations for all productive systems.
The project was successfully implemented and delivered by OTE Group within the scheduled timeframe and without interruption of the business operation.
Its implementation started with the transfer of the systems in OTE Group infrastructures and ended with their complete migration. Moreover, OTE Group with its expert staff will have the responsibility to manage, operate and support the Data Center for the next 5 years.
More specifically, it will serve operations such as Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Call Center and other, the most important one being Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) since Coca-Cola HBC receives more than 18.5 million orders annually. At the same time, the operation of a back-up Data Center has also been planned.
