How does COSMOTE My Internet, work when I am in the European Union?
  • When you consume the available Internet MBs in the European Union and if you are currently browsing the Internet, your connection will be interrupted and you will be automatically redirected to the service page (http://myinternet.cosmote.gr). You can also be directed to the service page via the link that will be sent to you with informative SMS.
  • If you navigate to more secure websites with https:// (such as Facebook, Google, Youtube), or using mobile apps, your Internet access will be interrupted, but you will not be automatically redirected to the COSMOTE My Internet service page. In this case, you will receive an informational SMS with a link that will take you to the service page.
  • To continue navigating, you need to choose one of the available options displayed on the service page. 
  • If you do not choose any of the available options, then your Internet access will remain inactive without being charged. Your Internet connection will resume as soon as the MBs of your program or additional data service are available for Internet access in the European Union.
What information can I find on the website when I am in the European Union?
On the website of the service you can see:
  • The free MBs you can consume when you are in the European Union.
  • The available MBs, per purchased program or Internet package, the renewal date of your free MB program, and the expiry date of an additional package.
  • Your available options to continue your Internet browsing.
  • The ”Terms of Use” of the Service.
How do I find out about my MBs from COSMOTE My Internet, when I am in the European Union?
  • When you consume 80% of your free MB, you will receive an informational SMS including a link to the service page (http://myinternet.cosmote.gr) to decide how to proceed. 
  • In addition, when you consume 100% of your free MB, your connection will be disconnected and if you are currently browsing the Internet, you will be automatically redirected to the service page, while receiving an informative SMS.
I have a COSMOTE Business Mobile contract. When I am in the European Union, what options do I have to continue browsing the Internet?
If you are a COSMOTE Business Mobile contract subscriber with embedded MB or Mobile Internet subscriber:
  • You can continue browsing the Internet by activating one of your available GIGA NOW packages. When you are in the European Union, the following packages are available for purchase: GIGA NOW Month 2GB & GIGA NOW Month 3GB.
  • Alternatively, you can choose to enable “Charge per MB”. In this case, the following shall apply:
    • The "Charge per MB" will apply for the remainder of the current billing period or until you return to Greece. Each time you travel from Greece to the European Union, or vice versa, the "Charge per MB" will be deactivated and you will have to decide again how you want to proceed.
    • The price of "Charge per MB" when roaming in the European Union is determined by the basic charges of your program.
    • You will also receive text messages for every € 10 Roaming Data Charge, up to € 200 unless you have activated the COSMOTE Roaming Data Limit service. In this case, you will receive the service messages at 20%, 40%, 80% and 100% of the default limit. 
 If you are a COSMOTE Mobile contract subscriber, with no built-in MB:
  • You can continue your Internet browsing by activating one of the available Mobile Internet packages of your program. In this case, for as long as the Mobile Internet package remains active on your connection, your Internet access will be interrupted when the free MBs are running out. To continue your navigation you will need to activate, through the service page, one of the GIGA NOW packages available for your program in the European Union.
  • Alternatively, you can choose to activate the COSMOTE Internet Day Pass package. In this case, the following shall apply:
    • The package costs are 1.30 €/day and it offers unlimited Internet browsing and COSMOTE my view services menu for 24 hours after you have connected to the Internet.
    • Mobile Internet Day Pass has a 100 MB per day usage policy, which COSMOTE allows you to continue browsing at no additional cost, but reducing the speed of your connection for the rest of the time that is valid for the respective pass.
    • You can activate the Mobile Internet package at any time on the page, before the COSMOTE Mobile Internet Day Pass package expires.
I am a COSMOTE Business Mobile contract subscriber and have the COSMOTE My Internet in Greece. What do I have to do to get the service in the European Union as well?
If you have activated COSMOTE My Internet service in Greece, this will automatically apply during Roaming in the European Union.
I am a COSMOTE Business Mobile Cost Control subscriber and have the COSMOTE My Internet service in Greece. What do I have to do to get the service in the European Union as well?
COSMOTE My Internet is not yet available in the European Union for COSMOTE Business Mobile Cost Control subscribers. When 10MB are left for your Internet navigation, you will receive an informational SMS, but your Internet access will not be interrupted.
Can I use COSMOTE My Internet via WiFi when I am in the European Union?
The service, as well as the available packages, can only be used when you connect to the Internet via a COSMOTE affiliate network and not via a WiFi network.
I am a subscriber to a program or package with a Good Use Policy. What options do I have to continue browsing the Internet when I am in the European Union?
If you are a subscriber to a COSMOTE Mobile Internet program or have activated a package that has a Good Use Policy, your Internet browsing will stop twice:
  • As soon as you consume the free MB for Internet in the European Union, navigation stops immediately and you have the following options:
    • to activate one of the Mobile Internet Now packages available in the European Union,
or
  • to activate the option "Consume available MBs at extra charge". 
 
  • Once you have consumed all the available Internet MBs in the European Union (ie free MBs and those consumed at a surcharge), your navigation stops and you have the following options:
    • to activate one of the Mobile Internet Now packages available in the European Union,
or
  • to enable the "Charge per MB" option.
I have a COSMOTE Mobile contract and I live in the European Union permanently. How does COSMOTE My Internet, work when I am on Roaming Permanent?
  • Your navigation stops once you receive the Permanent Roaming SMS informing you that additional charges are being applied for consuming your program's built-in usage.
  • To continue browsing the Internet, you must confirm that you want to consume your available MBs for an additional charge of € 0.0074/MB.
  • Once you have confirmed this, you will see the My Internet homepage, where you will see all the MBs you can consume in the European Union for an extra charge.
  • As soon as you consume all the Internet MBs in the European Union for an extra charge, your browsing stops again. To reconnect to the Internet, you have the following options:
    • activate one of the Mobile Internet Now packages available in the European Union (which will consume an additional charge of € 0.0074/MB),
or
  • to enable the "Charge per MB" option.
How can I activate the COSMOTE My Internet service?
  • The legal representative may activate the service in one of the following ways:
    • By calling COSMOTE Corporate Customer Service at 13818 (free from COSMOTE Corporate Mobile).
    • By talking to the Account Manager.
    • By going to a COSMOTE sales network store.
    • Via My COSMOTE.
  • In addition, if you have activated the COSMOTE My Internet service in Greece, it will automatically apply during Roaming in the European Union.
How can I deactivate the COSMOTE My Internet service?
  • The legal representative may deactivate the service in one of the following ways:
    • By calling COSMOTE Corporate Customer Service at 13818.
    • Via My COSMOTE.
  • After the COSMOTE My Internet, service is switched off, the basic program charges (based on a price list) will apply.
