Lubricant oils and lead batteries

Lubricant oils and lead batteries

OTE wastes include lubricant oils and lead batteries, the use of which is necessary in order to ensure the continuous operation of our network in cases when there are problems with electricity supply. Both categories are included in those that require special treatment (as they considered hazardous). In 2010, 12,823 kg of lubricant oils and 179,018 kg of lead batteries were collected and forwarded to authorized agencies for further treatment. In both cases, no spills were occurred.
